The main difference between a post-paid wireless service and a prepaid wireless service is the mode of payment. At post-paid, you can make as much text messages and phone calls as you want and pay after a month. You will receive a phone bill stating how much you are going to pay. At prepaid, on the other hand, you have to pay first before you could send text messages and call your friends. You have to buy a call and text card to be able to call and text. But because everything is being paid beforehand, there will be no monthly bills.

Because I am subscribed to Tracfone which is a prepaid wireless carrier, I have to buy call and text cards to use send text messages and make phone calls. But sometimes, I would get an unlimited plan especially if I have lots of people to contact. To get discounts on these, I would simple check the available tracfone promo codes. This works by having discount coupons to be sent to your shopping cart. That discount coupon makes the price of the plans and call cards I am buying lower. I can even get cheap cellular phones because of tracfone promo codes.
